Required Inspections:
If you are planning to build a new structure or remodel an existing property in the corporate limits of the City of Catoosa, you may be required to have an inspection, or several inspections, performed on your progress.
The following inspections are required to be performed by the City of Catoosa City Building Inspector:
- Footing inspection
- Temporary electric service
- Under-slab inspection (ground plumbing, electrical, etc.)
- Slab inspection (vapor barrier must be in place)
- Structural steel inspection (if applicable)
- Framing inspection
- Top-out plumbing inspection
- Rough-in electrical inspection
- Rough-in mechanical inspection
- Permanent electrical service
- Sewer line and tap inspection
- Water line inspection
- Final electrical
- Final plumbing
- Final mechanical
- Building final (commercial must have Certificate of Occupancy issued)
